Forest Education Foundation
The Forest Education Foundation (FEF) is a not‐for‐profit educational institution, staffed by qualified and experienced teachers.
The FEF has been providing a range of teaching resources and learning experiences for students across the state for over 20 years. FEF provides a range of centre-based educational resources and activities for students of all ages, supported by field experiences for students and professional learning opportunities for teachers.
National Forest Learning Centre
Situated in the centre of Hobart, our new purpose built Learning Centre allows schools to spend an hour or two investigating various aspects of forest ecology, forest science and forest management through a range of hands‐on learning experiences developed by the Forest Education Foundation teachers.
Members of the public are welcome to visit our Learning Centre to explore, discover and learn about Tasmania’s forests!
